Overview
Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Australia sought innovative ways to increase donations and raise awareness for their cause. Partnering with Sam Brand at Hello Social, we set out to create a solution that would engage the community and make charitable giving more accessible.
Our approach was to develop Splash, a unique app concept designed to act as a seamless coffee card. Splash allows users to round up their coffee purchases to the nearest dollar at any Square POS system, with the extra change going directly to BBBS. This simple yet impactful idea aimed to integrate charitable donations into everyday routines. We designed the brand identity to capture the spirit of “small change makes a big splash” in a way that appealed to time-poor working professionals.
The outcome was a concept that streamlined the donation process and helped BBBS connect with a broader audience. Splash provided a creative and effective way to support the organisation’s mission by making it easy for people to give while enjoying their daily coffee.
